Each year we welcome over 45 artisans. They cover a wide variety of high quality products including bead work, jewelry, greeting cards, ornaments, carvings, knitted items, stained glass, food products, engraved items, crystal, candles, home décor, ponchos, ear warmers, woodwork and lavender products to name a few. Many artisans have been with us for years. We always get good feedback from participants and the artisans.

Returning artisans receive an invitation in mid February and can sign up in the last two weeks of February. Then the web site application option opens March 1 to anyone new.

About our spaces

All registrations will be handled on a “first come, first serve” basis.
We offer:
• 4 ft spaces at $70.
• 6 ft spaces at $105.00
• 8 ft space at $140

Artisans are responsible to provide their own tables.

We offer fully accessible space and an elevator to move items and people as needed.

All items must be handmade.

We will limit the number of artisans in each category so that each artisan will have the best experience and the greatest opportunities to sell their wares.

We reserve the right to have non-approved items removed from your display.

We endeavour to provide helpers to set up your space but you must plan to be self-sufficient in unloading and loading your vehicle and setting up your space. We cannot guarantee help.

Applications timing

After February 15 and before March 1: Invited artisans should send in their applications but only pay when they have been accepted.

After March 1 and up to October 1: Applications are open to any artisan and are available below. Applicants are advised to hold payment until the artisan coordinator confirms space is still available. Otherwise applicants are added to a waiting list and to next year’s invitation list.

October 1 to February 15: No applications are accepted.
Accepted artisans receive detailed instructions in mid October.

Application options

  • By electronic registration. This is by far the fastest registration method and will secure your space ahead of those using paper:
    1. If you are an invited artisan, email PNUCMistletoeMart@gmail.com your completed Artisan Application. Once the artisan coordinator confirms space is available, e-transfer funds to PNUCMistletoeMart@gmail.com and include “YOUR FULL NAME, Mistletoe Mart artisan fee” in the memo field.
    2. If you are applying from the web site, do not send funds until the artisan coordinator confirms that a space is available. Pay only if advised by the artisan coordinator.  Otherwise you will be added to the waiting list.
  • By paper registration package mailed to Mistletoe Mart Committee, Port Nelson United Church, 3132 South Drive, Burlington, Ontario, L7N 1H7, or delivered to the church office.  Once the artisan coordinator confirms space is available, cheques should be made payable to PNUC Mistletoe Mart.
