Confirmation

Confirmation is an opportunity for youth and adults to confirm their baptismal vows and make an intentional, public declaration of belonging to the faith community.

While adult confirmation can happen at any time, Port Nelson United Church is pleased to offer a special two-year confirmation program for youth in Grades 9 and 10. The program at Port Nelson is unique in that it is largely experiential. Youth participate in a variety of outreach and service activities to explore what faith in action means, in addition to group conversations about major topics of Christianity.
