Enhancing Caring Skills Workshop Series: Fundamentals of Caring

Built on United Church of Canada values, over four weekly sessions, our ‘Enhancing Caring Skills’ Workshop Series will explore The Spiritual Foundations of Caring, The Art of Deep Listening, Caring Limits & Best Practices, and Self-care and Duty of Care.

For current volunteers, these training workshops will serve as a refresher on various topics and tools fundamental to serving within the Port Nelson Caring Ministry.

For those who have an interest in learning more about the Caring Ministry, the workshops will introduce you to foundational United Church of Canada principles and essential techniques designed to assist you in caring for yourself and providing compassionate support to others.
